Important information for Phuket tour guests
This guide is here to help you have a safe and enjoyable tour. Please read it carefully before you set off.
1. Meeting and pickup (delays and no-shows)
- Join-in tours: On join-in tours, several groups travel together, so pickup can run a little late.
- If your pickup is late: If pickup is more than 15 minutes later than your meeting time (e.g. 11:20–11:40), message us on WhatsApp, LINE or KakaoTalk, call the emergency number on your voucher, or ask the hotel front desk to call us. We will check right away.
- Please be on time: Because it is a join-in tour, if you are not in the ground-floor lobby at the set time, the vehicle may leave without notice for the next pickup, and this counts as a no-show.
- Pickup fees: Round-trip hotel pickup is free in most areas of Phuket. Some areas (such as Khao Lak and other outlying areas) and some products have an extra fee depending on your hotel's location — it is shown when you choose your pickup area, or we confirm it with you in advance.
2. Meeting points and notes for major resorts
If the name on your booking does not match the name registered at the hotel, pickup may go wrong. Please write the exact pickup lobby when you book, and tell us in advance if you change rooms after check-in.
- Millennium Patong: Lake Side Building
- Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort: Pickup only at the Welcome Lobby
- Holiday Inn Resort Phuket (2 lobbies): Busakorn Wing – for Studio Busakorn Villa guests / Main Wing – for Superior, Deluxe Pool View, Kids Suite and Family Suite guests
- M Social Phuket (2 lobbies): Beach Side – 2nd Road side, mostly Superior rooms / Lake Side – 3rd Road side, mostly Deluxe rooms
3. Rainy season (May–October) and bad weather: refunds
- Tour operation: It rains often in the rainy season, but tours still run as normal when it rains.
- Cancelled by the operator (refundable): If the boat cannot leave because of bad weather after you reach the pier, you return to your hotel and get a full refund.
- Change of mind or cancelling during the tour (non-refundable): If you choose not to join because of rain, or once the tour has started, no refund is possible.
4. Restrictions and vehicles
- Who cannot join: For safety, pregnant women cannot join tours.
- Children — ask first: If you are travelling with a child aged 0–3, please contact us before booking.
- Luggage and vehicles: The pickup vehicle is a Toyota Commuter van (or similar). Strollers and suitcases cannot be loaded or stored in the van, and child car seats are not available.
5. Activity conditions and flight restrictions
After some activities you must not fly for a set time, to prevent decompression sickness caused by pressure changes.
| Activity | Age limit | Flying after the activity |
|---|---|---|
| Try scuba diving | Ages 15–55 | No flying within 18 hours after the tour |
| Sea walking | Ages 10–60 | No flying within 18 hours after the tour |
| Parasailing | Ages 10–60 | No restrictions |
| Banana boat | Ages 10–60 | No restrictions |
- Rental equipment: If you lose snorkelling gear, a 1,000 baht penalty applies — please keep it safe.
- Safety at sea: You must wear a life jacket on speedboat rides and while snorkelling.
6. Other information
- Age & date of birth: Adult, child and infant fares are based on age on the day of travel, and at checkout you must enter each traveller's actual date of birth as shown on their passport. If a traveller's actual age does not match the fare booked, the local operator may charge the difference or an extra fee on site, according to its own rules.
- Tips: On yacht and boat tours, if you are happy with the service you can leave a tip for the crew in the tip box at the end of the tour — it is shared fairly among the staff.
- Changes to the schedule: The order of the tour programme may change without notice because of local conditions (weather, tides, etc.).
- Travel insurance: Most tours include the operator's accident insurance for the tour time (up to 1,000,000 baht for death or disability / up to 500,000 baht for medical costs). Coverage is limited, so we strongly recommend buying your own travel insurance before you travel.
